Thanks so much to all that participated in Vacation Bible School at Bunn Baptist. We had a great week with lots of fun, food, Bible Study, games & music. The workers were so awesome and so committed to having a successful week. Thank you so much for that! It was a busy week but well worth the effort. Your help is greatly appreciated.
We had a total enrollment of 71 workers and students with an average attendance of 67.

Vacation Bible School 2008 will take place at Bunn Baptist Church beginning August 3rd and going through August 7th with Family Night services on Friday, August 8th. Classes will be available for 3 year olds to 8th grade & adults. Each night’s classes start at 6:30 and end at 8:40. Family night activities will get underway at 6:30 on Friday. This year’s theme is Outrigger Island, Living God’s Unshakable Truth (Psalm 86:11). Get out your shorts, flip flops and sunglasses and get ready for an island adventure! VBS is a fun-filled, spiritual adventure that provides concentrated Bible study and encourages real-life application. Today’s kids are faced with troubled waters of daily life and a tidal wave of peer pressure. Using God’s Unshakable Truth we can equip kids to stay afloat & navigate the world with the knowledge that God is real, Jesus is His Son, Jesus is the only way to receive salvation, the Bible is God’s Word & their actions show what they truly believe. Knowing God’s truth, talking about it and living it out in their daily lives is the vessel kids need to stay spiritually stable in a world that is filled with the unpredictable tides of opinion and waves of change. VBS attendees will enjoy fun times of crafts, music, missions, recreation, snack & Bible study. If you would like to help in some way but have not signed up, please contact Pettra Spain, Kim Collins or call the church office.
Family night will be a time for family & friends to see what has taken place during the week. Plan to stay after the service to taste some of the theme-related snacks and enjoy a time of fellowship.
There will be a Kick Off & Pre-registration Luau on July 26th from 5 to 7pm. Come join us for fun, food, games & of course, registering for VBS.
