Dead Flies (Ecclesiastes 10:1)
Michael Spain, 01/24/2010Part of the Individual Sermon series, preached at a Sunday Morning service
What does a dead fly in a barrel of perfume have to do with the Christian life? Solomon said that a fly in the ointment causes it to stink. That is what happens to our Christian's testimony when we allow a little sin to remain in our life. Sin tolerated in our lives causes the sweet fragrance of Jesus to turn into a stench and it renders us useless in our witness.
